The dentists at San Francisco Cosmetic Dental group will go above and beyond to make your treatment efficient and comfortable.  We offer comprehensive examinations including cancer screenings.  Examinations include a full periodontal analysis including gums and supporting bone.  We use digital x-rays, which don’t use chemicals and reduce the amount of radiation exposure by up to 90%.  Diagnodent, a laser cavity finder, is commonly used to detect early cavities, before they become more serious problems.  Often, the dentists will also use an intra-oral camera to show you close-up pictures of your teeth.  Caesy, a patient instructional DVD is used to explain many problems and treatment options.  If you’re anxious, we can use a portable DVD player, with personal viewing glasses so you can watch a movie while in the chair!  We also have nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) for our moderately fearful patients.  We can even provide you with anti-anxiety and/or muscle relaxant premedication, if necessary.

Do you accept my insurance?

We do accept most insurance, so long as you are able to choose your own dentist.  Our office managers will file most insurance claims for you.  They can even do a predetermination of dental benefits, to take the guesswork out of most claims.  We accept VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS.  We can even set up convenient payment plans to fit most budgets.

Dr. Nathan Roth was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He did his undergraduate study at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.  Dr. Roth received his dental degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis in 1977.  He holds licenses to practice dentistry in both California and Indiana.  Dr. Roth is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Society and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

Dr. Roth completed studies for full mouth rehabilitation at the Lee Institute in Loma Linda, California.  Dr. Roth has taken advanced courses in dental implant restorations and has completed both Level I and Level II certification in orthodontic treatment using Invisalign orthodontic appliances.  Continuing education is ongoing as technology continues to advance in dentistry.

Dr. Roth enjoys working out, golfing, snow skiing and SCUBA diving.  He is married to Yardena and they have two daughters, Deborah and Becca, who are competitive swimmers.

He was also the recipient of the A.E.G.D. award for the most exemplary first year resident.  Dr. Rose has also completed Levels I and II Invisalign orthodontic certification.  He has taken advanced courses in dental implant restorations, cosmetic dental treatments, no-drill veneers including Lumineers, and much more.  Dr. Rose is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Society, Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Rose is proficiently trained in all facets of dentistry including treatment for children, adults, and elderly patients. Comfortable filling placement and root canal therapy as well as gentle tooth removal, dental implants, dentures, fixed and removable bridges, and periodontal (gum) treatment are within Dr. Rose's treatment scope. He particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry including porcelain veneers (including Lumineers), natural white fillings, and tooth whitening.
